Hanne Tveter started as a music and song writer with her debut album "Elements", she received critical acclaim for her voice and her strong delivery skills. Then she established herself in the genre of Jazz and worked with a big band from the golden age of jazz.
She has studied both classical music and jazz. Hanne is also the vocalist of the Brazilian jazz band Borboleta, and is also frequent collaborator of many well known bands.
The last few years she has used poetry as her arena, with song writer Finn Evensen she made a record based on his musical arrangements inspired by Emily Dickinson's writings. She has extensively studied a handful of Dickinson's poems and along with some of Norway's highest profile musicians made an elegant record that ranges from jazz to pop music.
